U.S. citizens in line at a food bank

You may not realize it yet, but the U.S. is in trouble. By the time you finish reading this article, you will understand why.

Consider these facts:

  1. The Federal Reserve was created in 1913 to bring monetary stability to the U.S. However, since its creation,
the U.S. dollar has declined in value by over 95%.
  2. The price of food is going up, the price of gasoline is going up. Yet, home values are continuing to go down.
  3. Throughout the world, 1 billion people go to bed hungry each night.
  4. An increasing number of investors are betting that the U.S. government will default on its debt.
  5. Japan currently manufactures 5 million more automobiles than the U.S. does.
  6. China has become the world’s largest exporter of high technology products.
  7. The U.S. government owes China 895 billion dollars, and is constantly begging them for more money.
  8. The number of jobs gained by the U.S. economy during the past decade (2000-2010) was less than any other decade since World War II.
  9. In Osceola County, Florida 66.5% of all home mortgages are underwater. In Clark Country, Nevada 71.1% of all home mortgages are underwater.
  10. There are 28 million Americans that would like full-time jobs, but don’t have them.
  11. The American Journal of Medicine states that medical bills are a major factor in over 60% of personal bankruptcies in the U.S.
  12. The fastest growing portion of the federal budget is interest on the national debt.
  13. During Barack Obama’s first two years in office, the U.S. government added more to the national debt than the first 100 U.S. Congresses combined. The previous record was held by George W. Bush.
  14. The Obama administration and the Federal Reserve both declare the U.S. economy is in recovery, yet a record 43.6 million Americans were on food stamps in November, 2010.

Now that you understand these things, what can you do about it?

You can’t do anything about the Federal Reserve’s policies. You can’t do anything about Congress’ policies. Here’s the secret most people don’t realize: we have lost representational government in the U.S. Because of that, the United States’ fate has been sealed.

The Fed is buying U.S. Treasury debt because no one else wants it. This practice can not go on forever. The day is coming when it will no longer prop up the U.S. economy. That is the day when the U.S. Dollar will collapse.

You can only control your own family’s destiny. You can store a supply of food and water. If you are worried about your savings being destroyed when the Dollar collapses, you can also buy some gold and silver. However, food is the most important because you can’t eat precious metals.

A lot people don’t want to hear someone tell them to get an emergency food supply. They may have done so before Y2K and felt they got burned when nothing happened. They think nothing happened then, and nothing may happen now. If you feel that way, you must think there is a downside to having a supply of food.

But really, when you think about it, what is the worst thing that could happen?

Nothing, and you would be forced to actually eat the food you have stored!

Personally, I would be happy if nothing happened and all I had to do was eat my food storage.

Even Trump Sees a U.S. Economic Collapse and $25/Loaf of Bread

Trump sees a loaf of bread costing $25.00

Donald Trump was interviewed on Newsmax.tv recently and he made some very piercing observations about what is going on in the U.S. Now, not everyone likes Trump, but you have to admit he’s a great businessnessman.

As you read the 11 points he made in the interview, you’ll understand why the U.S. is in trouble:

  1. “If oil prices are allowed to inflate and keep inflating, if the dollar keeps going down in value, I think there’s a very distinct possibility that things could get worse.”
  2. “You’re going to pay $25 for a loaf of bread pretty soon. Look at what’s happening with our food prices. They’re going through the roof. We could end up being another Egypt. You could have riots in our streets also.”
  3. “I think gold will go up as long as people don’t have confidence in our country.”
  4. “The banks have really let us down. They did some bad things and caused some bad problems. If you have something that you want to buy, like a house, they’re generally not there for you.”
  5. “I see $3.50 for a gallon of gas for cars, and I see cars are lined up trying to get it at $3.50. It’s a shame, a ridiculous shame.”
  6. “I think the biggest threat is that our jobs are being stolen by other countries. We’re not going to have any jobs here pretty soon.”
  7. “We’re like a whipping post for other countries. We’re standing there and just being beaten by South Korea, by Mexico, by China, by India.”
  8. “All of our jobs are going to China. We’re rebuilding China and other places.”
  9. “We are a laughingstock throughout the world.”
  10. “The federal government has no money.”
  11. “I hate what is happening to this country.”

I hate what’s happening to this country too. My biggest fear is hyperinflation. My biggest fear is going to the grocery store and not being able to afford to buy food for my family. However, if Federal Reserve continues its current course of U.S. Dollar devaluation, we will be paying more than $25 for a loaf of bread.

Now you understand that there will come a day when most people won’t be able to afford to buy food. It’s not a question of if, but a question of when. It’s just a matter of time.

You can secure your family’s future today by locking in the price of your food.

Buy an emergency food supply today.

Food Riots in Egypt Now, Food Riots in America Next?

Which scenario do you want for your family?

Which scenario do you want for your family?

The rioting in Egypt raises several important issues. Let’s look at the situation:

  • The US Dollar is the World’s Reserve Currency.
  • The US Dollar has been going down in value for quite some time.
  • Because of the Dollar’s fall, global food prices are skyrocketing.
  • If the unrest in the Middle East continues, the Suez Canel may be shut down.
  • If the Suez Canal is shut down, oil prices will go through the roof. To a degree, they already have.
  • The Egyptian people are rioting for many reasons, one of which is the skyrocketing cost of food.

All these factors add up to a future that is very uncertain. In the photograph above, we have two scenarios. The one on the left shows the food riots in Egypt. The one on the right shows a typical American family enjoying a meal at the table. The question you need to ask yourself is this:

Which scenario do you want for your family? The one on the left or the one on the right?

If you ignore the signs and always think that food will always be available and affordable, what will you think when the next crisis happens in America, and you can’t afford to buy food? What will your family do?

Demand for emergency food is at an all-time high. Demand for freeze dried food from Mountain House Food is especially high. Order now while wait times are still reasonable.

Buy emergency food for your family which it is still available, and while you can still afford it.

A Fit Breakfast from Food Storage: Protein Pancakes

Protein Pancakes

Better fitness is one of my goals for the new year, so I was excited to find this yummy recipe in Shape Magazine for low-cal, high protein, whole grain pancakes. I think it’s a great way to use oats from food storage!  No need to grind the oats into flour. Just use a blender or food processor to combine ingredients below.  (I used a Magic   Bullet) Then cook batter like  pancakes for 2 minutes per side.  These are great served with fresh fruit and a drizzle of agave nectar (I like Xagave brand)! They taste a little bit like French toast.

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup fat-free cottage cheese

1/2 cup egg whites (you could easily use powdered egg whites in this recipe)

1 tsp. vanilla extract

Pinch of cinnamon

Demand for Mountain House Freeze Dried Food at an All-Time High

Emergency Food from Mountain House Food

Emergency Food from Mountain House Foods

Emergency Food is an essential part of your family’s preparedness plan. If you are interesting in buying any type of emergency food storage, you need to know this:

Demand for any type of Emergency Food is at an All-Time High

Don’t take my word for it. Here are the words of Harry Weyandt, President of Nitro-Pak Preparedness Center:

“The nations emergency food suppliers have all been slammed with dealer orders, so much so that Mountain House has discontinued taking orders from ALL dealers except NITRO-PAK and a couple of others. Our customers have priority status in receiving their orders. We are currently alloted a large amount of food shipped to us each week, and Mountain House and our other suppliers are working feverishly to fill our orders ASAP.

Orders with #10 can foods (freeze-dried & dehydrated), food reserve units or modules are processing in about 15-38 business days due to the EXTREMELY HIGH DEMAND that has been caused by our nation’s current political & economic uncertainty as well as high inflation fears. We anticipate prices will soon rise as are all food prices worldwide.

I personally recommend locking-in what you can NOW! before prices increase and availability vaporizes. When word of these shortages reaches the general population via the News, wait times will GREATLY INCREASE as the demand grows. Please understand, this is no hype…just gut instinct as one friend to another.”
